SPOKO Integrators Ltd. provided multiple Control Systems for mobile and man less operated SmartCars. These trolleys are a part of conveyor transport lines that receive raw materials (corrugated cardboard stacks) from the Corrugator Machine and transport to multiple printing and cutting machines. SmartCars communicated with the infeed of material, loaded the batch onto itself, traveled to the designated line and unloaded. Operation continued 24 hours per day servicing all of the printing machines. Since the SmartCar is not operated by a person, and travels across the plant floor, the integrated two laser safety scanner system is required to be 100% reliable and take into consideration any unsafe conditions that could arise during its operation; such as, a person walking in its path of travel.
